PeaceHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a Full Time, 0.88 FTE, Night position in Oregon. The salary range is $24.50 - $36.61 per hour and the role is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will perform supportive clerical and technical tasks to assist in providing pharmaceutical care. Duties include entering orders, labeling, IV preparation, unit dose packaging, and delivering medications to patient care areas.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician license/registration for Oregon is required upon hire.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy and unit dose systems is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Enter inpatient orders/prescriptions and prepare labels.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
• Inspect medications for outdates in Pyxis stations.
• Prepare IVs, PCA, epidurals and label IV products.
• Package drugs into unit dose packaging and maintain records.
• Restock medications and process invoices and backorders.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and manage controlled substances inventories.
• Enter patient charges and credits.
