HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician specializing in medication history. The role involves collecting complete medication histories for new admissions, verifying allergies and care information, and documenting in the electronic health record with pharmacist cosignature.

Under supervision, you will support discharge counseling and medication history reconciliation, and may prepare educational materials. Weekend/evening shifts and on-call hours may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician License required.

Responsabilités

• Performs medication histories for new hospital admissions under supervision of the clinical pharmacist.
• Verifies and updates allergy, adverse drug reaction, and primary care information in the electronic medical record.
• Documents medication histories in the EHR and CPW/VigiLanz with cosignature by the pharmacist.
• Assists with discharge counseling medication history and prepares education materials as needed.
