Hialeah Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging medication orders under supervision. You will handle stocking, inventory management, and participate in quality assurance activities while supporting pharmacists with a variety of duties.

The ideal candidate has Florida tech licensure, BLS certification, and basic computer skills; IV sterile product preparation experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• I.V. experience preferred.
• Current Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician licensure required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• BLS Certification Required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Aufgaben

• Assists in the preparation, packaging, delivering, and charging of medication orders, under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Processes new medication orders as well as discharges and transfers.
• Responsible for stocking medications and inventory management.
• Involved with Pharmacy quality assurance activities and assists the pharmacists in performing various duties.
• Prepares and delivers IV sterile products under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
