Kindred Hospital Indianapolis North, part of ScionHealth, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist. The role involves aseptic IV compounding, labeling, and filing, plus processing medication records and managing supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State certification/licensure if required by state.
• 1 year hospital pharmacy tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Mix IV additives and prepare IV packs using aseptic technique.
• Prepare labels and documents; file charge slips.
• Process medication records and enter data in computer.
• Restock supplies and rotate stock; maintain IV refrigerator logs.
• Deliver IVs and coordinate with nursing staff as needed.
