Job summary
Carle Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care across Carle Foundation Hospital and related facilities. You will perform technical tasks including filing, compounding, reconstitution, labeling, and delivery, with responsibilities spanning IV preparation, parenteral nutrition, and inventory management.

Qualifications
- Prepare and label chemotherapy drugs accurately and safely.
- Maintain and restock pharmacy inventory and units.
- Process prescriptions, refills, and billing functions.
- Prepare IV products using aseptic technique and proper labeling.
- Ensure compliance with Illinois IDFPR licensing timelines.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely prepare and label chemotherapy drugs for administration.
- Accurately fill and deliver Omnicell restock lists.
- Enter and process new prescriptions and refills.
- Fill medication orders in a timely manner for various care settings.
- Perform monthly inventory checks and proper storage of drugs.
- Prepare IV products and parenteral nutrition as assigned.
- Refer customers to a pharmacist when appropriate.
