You will handle compounding including IV admixtures, maintain inventory, support safety initiatives, and collaborate with care teams to ensure timely medication delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California certified pharmacy technician license in good standing.
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office.
• Proven effective communication skills; verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assists pharmacists and healthcare providers by gathering information and supporting workflow efficiency.
• Prepares and compounds medications following hospital protocols and USP standards.
• Delivers medications to patient care areas and nursing units.
• Maintains medication inventory by restocking and monitoring expiration dates.
• Supports medication safety initiatives and documentation.
• Collaborates with pharmacists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Complies with Joint Commission and state/federal regulations.
