Job summary

PharmcareUSA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our LTC-focused operations. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, FSA/HSA, paid time off and holidays.

The successful candidate must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician in the working state and will assist pharmacists with input, filling, dispensing and IV compounding, while maintaining regulatory compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician licensed in the state of work.
• Ability to input, fill, and dispense prescriptions.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PPT.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with input, filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Perform filling and IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and speed.
• Fill prescriptions per regulatory rules and guidelines.
• Answer calls and assist callers or route to Pharmacist as needed.
• Prepare medications for facility delivery per schedule.
• Assist walk-in customers or direct to the appropriate department.
• Assist with ordering medications from wholesalers and inventory management.
• Assist with medication returns and E-Kit management.
• Maintain Pharmacy Technician license/certification.
• Comply with corporate initiatives and use provided tools/resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
