Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year Hospital / Inpatient experience
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Board of Pharmacy in the state of practice

Responsibilities

• Fills medication orders, charges/credits all medication, stocks, delivers, and inspects assigned areas.
• Prepares IV admixtures and other extemporaneous compounds and enters TPN orders into the computer system.
• Maintains competency in professional growth and responsibilities
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including privacy considerations and communication styles
• Other related duties as required; ensures compliance with laws and standards
