Job summary

Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations at its Chattanooga-area campus. The role involves procurement, preparation, delivery, and restocking of medications, along with IV admixture prep and inventory tasks.

You will interact with internal and external customers, operate automated pharmacy systems, and participate in learning activities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License, or (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Assists in daily pharmacy tasks: procurement, preparation, delivery, returns and restocking of medications.
• Participates in formulary and inventory management.
• Prepares intravenous admixtures.
• Facilitates customer service with internal and external customers.
• Operates and understands automated pharmacy equipment and software.
• Assists with learning activities and other duties as assigned.
