Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
• Minimum two years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospitals or health care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient medication orders including unit dose, cartfill, IV meds, chemotherapy, and controlled substances.
• Ensure quality and integrity of medication preparations per standards and laws.
• Coordinate timely delivery and refills to patient drawers or unit doses.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy automation and electronic health records.
• Maintain medication inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
