Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician 2 to join our Department of Pharmaceutical Services. The technician will provide pharmaceutical care, prepare and distribute medications, and manage inventory across UCSF Health locations.

Requirements include completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program, a CA-licensed technician, and flexibility to rotate across UCSF locations. Preferred is CPhT certification and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the positions.
• Min. two (2) years as Pharmacy Tech in Hospitals or Health Care or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This position requires flexibility to work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients across UCSF Health locations.
• Perform medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management.
• Maintain licensure and comply with California Board of Pharmacy requirements.
