Job summary

Mosaic Life Care seeks a Pharmacy Technician II-Medication History to support pharmacists in obtaining comprehensive medication histories and assisting with distribution, IV admixture and medication safety tasks. This role requires strong communication and data-entry skills within an EMR environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required.
• Registration with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician or Intern; intern license required if enrolled in school; must obtain within 75 days of hire.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medication history from patients and sources with supervision of a pharmacist.
• Navigate EMR to collect prior to admission meds and related info.
• Interviews patient to update current medication list.
• Assist in preparation and distribution of medications using automation.
• Verify medications and maintain accurate data entry.
