Texas Health Plano is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join the Pharmacy Department in Plano, TX. This full-time role supports 24/7 coverage across multiple facilities, including hospital units and nursing departments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Hospital pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.
RPhT certification required upon hire.
IV certification upon hire is preferred.
Proficiency in English, basic math, and ability to use multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

Timely and accurate preparation and delivery of medications to nursing units and departments.
Maintain accuracy and competency through ongoing education and quality initiatives.
Manage time effectively and model accountability and teamwork.
Communicate effectively and build positive working relationships within the team.
Train new staff on routine tasks under supervision.
Help minimize pharmaceutical costs and improve process efficiency.
