Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Georgia state board of Pharmacy registration/licensure required or able to obtain.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or ExCPT certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Select, label, and prepare medications including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Support medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
• Handle phone calls and route as needed with proper etiquette.
• Assist with procurement, inventory management, and outdate checking.
• Document activities for controlled substances per policy.
