Job summary

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (CphT) – PRN with weekday availability to support our inpatient pharmacy team. The role includes assisting pharmacists, stocking and preparing medications, and maintaining professional standards within the hospital setting.

Responsibilities emphasize clinical support, accuracy, and adherence to NRMC and Cardinal Health standards. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, current technician certification, and hospital

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Current technician certification and required licensing is required.
• Preferred: hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• ACPE or ASHP accredited course in compounding sterile preparations is preferred.
• Training and proficiency in age specific therapies for hospital patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support licensed pharmacists in providing health care and medications to patients.
• Maintain a professional presence throughout the hospital.
• Ensure pharmacy services and activities meet goals and standards of both Cardinal Health and the hospital.

Education

High school degree or equivalent
