Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in San Antonio, TX to support dispensing operations and medication preparation under a pharmacist's final check. Responsibilities include managing inventory, delivering medications to patient areas, and assisting with clerical tasks.

This on-site role requires compliance with HHSC, hospital, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy policies, plus successful drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Must comply with HHSC, hospital, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy policies.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience with Pyxis MedStation and repackaging is preferred.

Requirements

• Must comply with all HHSC, hospital, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy policies.
• Negative PPD within last 12 months and successful passing of drug screen and background check required.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis MedStation system, medication room inspections, and manual/automated repackaging preferred.

Education / Licensure

Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Work Schedule

Shifts are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:30pm. No 12-hour shifts. Availability for 9 consecutive days of training, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, is required. Work environment is on-site; remote work is not available.
