• Education requirements met prior to Licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Hospital experience: 1 year preferred (Pharmacy Technician); 1 year required for Lead or Medication Reconciliation Technician roles; medication reconciliation training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review system queues and daily reports to prioritize dispensing.
• Coordinate priorities with pharmacists to ensure timely medication dispensing and labeling.
• Maintain required records and audit support for compliance (USP <797>, <795>, <800>).
• Respond to messages, resolve routine issues, and support prior authorizations communication when intersecting with medication access.
