Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and manage returns.
• Maintain and stock unit-based automated dispensing cabinets.
• Perform aseptic compounding of parenteral admixtures and sterile dosage forms.
• Process floor stock requisitions and maintain logs and counts.
• Handle controlled substances per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide general assistance to pharmacist staff and support order entry.
• Restock anesthesia cabinets and ensure proper documentation.
• Package bulk medications and ensure proper labeling and logging.
