The role involves accuracy, safety and timely delivery, with duties spanning inventory, billing, stock management and compliance with policies and procedures. Under supervision, you will prepare chemotherapy and handle blood products, maintain documentation, and support operations across multiple worksites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains stock supplies in the pharmacy and packages medications under supervision.
• Prepares IV or other medications using aseptic technique for nursing staff.
• Obtains pharmacist verification and delivers medications accurately and safely.
• Prepares chemotherapy and handles blood products safely.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and reports failures.
• Delivers a 24-hour supply of medication to patients daily and manages discharge meds for crediting.
• Replenishes floor stock per department policy and procedure.
• Follows policies for automated dispensing cabinets.
• Places daily orders for medications and supplies and communicates issues.
• Verifies inventory received against invoices and notes any discrepancies.
• Stocks shelves and rotates stock appropriately.
• Withdraws and prepares controlled substances per vault procedures.
• Bills and credits medication charges as needed.
• Supports Lean continuous improvement and maintains a safe environment.
