Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Licenses required or to be obtained per state law (pharmacy technician).
• Experience of 3–5 years in a pharmacy technician role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Prepares and fills medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Supports billing, charges and inventory records.
• Prepackages and labels medications accurately.
• Oversees restocking and compliance for pharmaceuticals.
• Assist in training and competency assessments of junior staff.
• Participates in quality assurance and process improvements.
• Responds to regulatory documentation requirements.
