Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy department. You will prepare, compound, dispense medications under direct supervision and perform technical duties required for certified technician work.

You will gain hands-on experience with IV admixture, ADC systems, and medication distribution while maintaining safety and compliance standards in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and good communication are required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred; knowledge of automated dispensing cabinets helpful.
• Licensed with GA State Board of Pharmacy upon hire; intern/pharmacist-intern credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, dispense medications under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Perform duties of certified pharmacy technician as assigned.
• Maintain aseptic technique and compliance with USP standards.
