Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, compound, dispense medications, and perform other technical duties in the pharmacy department under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

You will handle IV admixtures, unit-dose preparation, inventory, and reporting while ensuring compliance with USP standards and Joint Commission policies. A high school diploma and Georgia licensure are required; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Certified pharmacy technician license/registration as required per state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Medication Distribution - prepare medications and IVs for dispensing.
• Bulk Dispense and unit-dose preparation.
• Maintain ADC and ensure accurate medication loading.
• Generate reports to track discrepancies and inventory.
