UPMC Memorial Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician Intermediate to join a fast-paced team in York. The role supports preparation and delivery of medications, with responsibilities spanning labeling, filling, sterile compounding, and distribution under regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program and two years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

Responsabilidades

• Filling: assist in filling medication orders with proper labeling and stocking.
• Prepare oral and injectable medications including IV admixtures and TPN for patients.
• Use proper aseptic technique in sterile product preparation.
• Work in sterile area for cytotoxic and hazardous drugs.
• Distribute medications and manage controlled substances per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Retrieve discontinued meds and return them to appropriate area; maintain records.
• Maintain positive service relationships during medication distribution.
