Qualifications

• 1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience, retail or ambulatory experience
• Experience with sterile compounding and regulated medications is required
• Ability to operate pharmacy automation systems and maintain accuracy in inventory

Responsibilities

• Executes core pharmacy technician duties with proficiency in standard workflows and hospital systems.
• Dispenses medications accurately with correct drug, dose, form, expiration, and barcode.
• Compounds sterile medications under aseptic conditions following USP guidelines and institutional protocols.
• Maintains inventory accuracy by receiving, rotating stock, and managing controlled substances.
• Collaborates with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe patient care across shifts.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and compliance documentation.
