Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for our Hospital Pharmacy department in Lexington, KY. The role involves processing medication orders, delivering meds to nursing units, and supporting pharmacists with daily tasks.

This is a full-time, first-shift position within the Department of Pharmacy Services. The ideal candidate has pharmacy experience, and holds a Pharmacy Technician license or intern license, with Kentucky Board registration.

Qualifications

Pharmacy work experience preferred.
National Certified as pharmacy technician or Pharmacy Intern license.
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration for Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently processes and fills medication orders.
Delivers medications from pharmacy to nursing units; returns items as needed.
Demonstrates leadership and critical thinking in daily tasks.
Provides general assistance to pharmacist staff and illustrates working knowledge of technology.
