The role includes filling oral and IV medications, triaging orders, and maintaining the automated dispensing system, with a focus on patient-centered care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• California Pharmacy Technician License at hire.
• 1 year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB cert, or 2 years (4160 hours) hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV meds, triage orders, maintain integrity of the ADS.
