Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Burnet Campus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role in the Pharmacy department. You will perform unit dose preparation, ADC replenishment, outpatient triage, and compounding, supporting inpatient and decentralized operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years’ experience, and active PTCB and OH Board certifications (CPhT acceptable).

Qualifications

• PTCB and OH Board certifications required or eligible.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Medication orders: unit dose prep for cart fill and first doses.
• ADC replenishment preparation and delivery.
• Outpatient phone triage and insurance adjudication.
• Sterile or non-sterile compounding as required.
• Tech Check Tech under approved program.
• Medication management on nursing units in decentralized pharmacies.
• Inpatient phone triage.
