Qualifications

• Must have National Certification such as PTCB or NHA and TN Pharmacy Tech License.
• College-level training in pharmacy technology or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares unit dose medications and fills unit dose carts.
• Calculates, weighs and compounds ingredients for non-sterile products.
• Prepares and labels IV products using aseptic technique.
• Operates pharmacy data systems and enters/retrieves information.
• Maintains inventory and storage of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Ensures records are accurate and compliant with policies.
