Job summary

The role requires pharmacist licensure (WV/OH) with preferred leadership residency and business degree; strong operations, IT, and project management skills are essential to drive cost-effective and safe medication use.

Qualifications

• Must possess a pharmacist license (or eligible to obtain) in West Virginia and Ohio.
• A business degree (e.g., MHA or MBA) is preferred.
• Residency training, especially in pharmacy leadership, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the pharmacy including staff scheduling, training and evaluations.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for cost-effective and safe medication use.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and committees; support enterprise services and initiatives.
• Oversee the Department of Pharmacy in the absence of the Director.
