Qualifications

• Must hold a PharmD and be eligible for Florida pharmacist licensure.
• Minimum three years of pharmacy management experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong organizational, computer and management skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with all faculty and staff.
• Proficient in pharmacy software, Microsoft Office and automated dispensing tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and programmatic direction for pharmacy services.
• Recruit, orient, develop and evaluate department staff.
• Develop goals and programs aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Ensure compliance with laws, accrediting bodies and formulary processes.
• Lead medication distribution, safety initiatives and drug therapy monitoring.
• Foster cross-disciplinary relationships with physicians, nursing and admin.
