Job summary

tbhcareers is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical services under supervision. You may dispense medications, assist with sterile and oral liquid compounding, and support inventory and accreditation activities.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in an ACPE program or graduated from an accredited pharmacy program, possess a NY State Pharmacy Intern permit, and demonstrate knowledge of pharmacotherapy, dosage calculations, and brand/generic names.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE program or a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
• Knowledge of brand and generic medication names; pharmacotherapy; dosage calculations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing under supervision.
• Support sterile product and oral liquid compounding activities.
• Assist with inventory management and Joint Commission accreditation related tasks.
