Exalt Health Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeland LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead the hospital pharmacy program, ensuring safe, effective medication use and comprehensive clinical, operational, and financial management. The role includes educating patients and caregivers, counseling, and advising providers on drug choices and safety.

You will supervise pharmacists and technicians and participate in the hospital leadership team.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Experience building hospital pharmacy operations from pre-opening to launch.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication safety.
• Hospital supervisory experience required.
• 5 years of hospital/clinical experience; rehab setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee hospital pharmacy's clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial management.
• Educate patients and caregivers about drugs and their use; provide counseling.
• Advise physicians on medication selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
• Assign tasks, supervise and coach pharmacists and technicians.
• Contribute as a Leadership Team member and support Pharmacy strategy.
• Ensure safe and effective use and administration of medications.
