Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico in Las Cruces, NM hires a Pharmacist to join our clinical team on a full-time basis. You will consult with nursing and medical staff, conduct drug reviews, monitor therapies, and help manage financial aspects of prescribing while upholding our mission and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds a current Pharmacist license, hospital experience, and supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Pharmacist is required.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults with nursing and medical staff on prescriptions, reactions, and errors.
• Performs drug utilization reviews and approves drug review criteria.
• Monitors therapies and suggests alternatives as appropriate.
• Collaborates with physicians on financial risk related to prescribing.
• Upholds the hospital's mission and guiding principles.
