GHR Travel Nursing seeks a Hospital Pharmacist for an inpatient acute care assignment in York, PA. This travel opportunity suits a pharmacist with acute care and oncology support, IV compounding expertise, and a patient-centered approach to care.

You will work day shifts (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) on a 13-week assignment, with weekend and holiday coverage and potential floating to a sister location as needed. Active PA license and EPIC Beacon experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication counseling and clinical guidance when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage per department needs.
• Contribute to a collaborative inpatient pharmacy environment.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,740-$2,940
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Holiday Coverage: Required as needed, with holiday rotation expectations
• Floating: May float to a nearby sister location as needed
• Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 day

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of pharmacy experience in hospital, inpatient, or clinical pharmacy settings
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required prior to start
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient oncology preferred
• IV training required, including hazardous and non-hazardous medication preparation
• EPIC Beacon experience required
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy, sterile compounding, clinical dosing, and sterile technique
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment
• BCPS, BLS, Chemo/Hazardous Drug, IV Certification, PharmD, and RPh credentials preferred as applicable
• Ability to support care for a diverse patient population across all age groups
