Job summary

GHR Travel Nursing seeks a Hospital Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Westwood, New Jersey. This inpatient, acute care role spans 13 weeks with 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 11:00 AM-7:30 PM) and 40 hours per week. On-call coverage is scheduled weekly to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.

The position requires PharmD and active RPh licensure, BLS, and inpatient infusion pharmacy experience, plus proficiency with Epic charting. Start in September 2026 with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders to support safe, effective patient care.
• Prepare and dispense inpatient medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support for antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, and dosing adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize therapy.
• Support patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations as needed.
• Monitor medication therapy and assist with therapeutic drug management.
• Maintain documentation in EHR and pharmacy systems.
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience required
• Pharmacy credentials required, including PharmD and RPh
• Active BLS certification required

• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Strong knowledge of inpatient, hospital, and acute care pharmacy practices
• Experience with medication dosing, compounding, sterile technique, and therapeutic monitoring preferred
