Job summary

• Ability to follow oxygen transport policy and monitor oxygen levels.
• Able to regularly stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and items safely within the hospital.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and hand off to caregivers at origin and destination.
• Monitor oxygen tank levels and manage oxygen connections during transport.
• Log patient transfers to morgue inventory and document time in cold storage.
• Store beds, stretchers and wheelchairs properly; sanitize equipment and wear PPE.
