Job summary

San Ramon Regional Medical Center in San Ramon, California is seeking a Full-Time Inhouse Transport team member to safely move patients between units and treatment areas, using wheelchairs or gurneys as required. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, you will perform transport duties and may assist with additional support tasks.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, at least six months of acute care transport experience preferred, and hold a current BLS certification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute care transport setting preferred.
• Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider and a California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients between units/departments and treatment areas using wheelchairs or gurneys as required.
• Perform duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse and assist with additional support activities as directed.
