Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, follow written and verbal instructions, and complete simple computat ional skills
• Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position
• Ability to meet acceptable background check standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and nourishments to patients courteously and professionally
• Collect trays from patient rooms or units
• Exhibit communication skills to interpret age-specific responses in patients
• Operate and clean department equipment per procedures
• Accurately portion and serve food for patients quickly and accurately
• Safely transport food carts and equipment throughout the hospital
• Accurately inventory and deliver par stock supplies to units and clean per procedures.
