Qualifications

• Must have a HS Diploma and one of the listed certifications or equivalent clinical program experience.
• Relevant healthcare certifications recognized by Sentara Health.
• Prior hospital or patient care experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Assist with admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical, mental and emotional conditions.
• Adhere to patient safety practices and hospital policies.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
