Beacon Health System is seeking a Maintenance Painter responsible for preparing, painting and maintaining interior surfaces within the hospital facilities in Elkhart, Indiana. The role supports upkeep, repairs, and improvements of walls, ceilings and coverings to ensure a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the facilities team, completing work orders promptly, stocking materials, and adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of different types of paint and proper uses.
• Drywall/plaster repair knowledge.
• Vinyl wall coverings knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain interior surfaces and structures to extend life and appearance.
• Install plaster walls and ceilings and drywall construction.
• Perform basic PM tasks by due date and according to procedures.
• Complete work orders within 3 days of assignment or as directed by management.
• Order and stock materials for smooth facility operation; organize stock storage.
