Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year experience as a painter or 1-3 years as a painter-helper preferred.
• Must possess a valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Smooth surfaces for painting using sandpaper, scrapers, and tools.
• Apply coats of paint, varnish, enamels, or lacquer to protect and decorate surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces and mix paints to match colors as required.
• Remove old paint and protect areas not being painted.
• Set up staging or scaffolding and protect floors and furniture during work.
• Perform other painting-related duties as assigned.
