Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks a Clinical Operations leader for Administration (Department8720). You will provide hospital-wide throughput oversight, staffing and resource management, and front-line leadership for operational and financial management, while promoting patient-centered care and staff relations.

The role requires CA RN license, BLS, and crisis intervention training; ACLS, BSN/MSN, and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CA RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospital-wide operational throughput and manage staffing and support resources.
• Provide front-line leadership for operational and financial management.
• Maintain public and internal staff relations and support program leadership.
• Apply Joint Commission standards, California Nursing Practice Act, Title22 and 17, federal guidelines, and HIPAA policies in supervisory areas.
• Develop and implement patient-care policies, procedures, protocols, and standards.
• Hold staff accountable for meeting nursing practice and patient-care standards.
• Coach and develop staff to improve patient care and investigate patient-care errors promptly.
• Organize patient care and service in collaboration with Directors and Nurse Managers based on staffing plans and patient needs.
