Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to oversee hospital and department operations in the New Jersey region. The role shares accountability with administration and leaders, ensuring efficient administrative coverage and service delivery.

The candidate will lead emergency response, drive quality improvement, build teams, and support patient satisfaction while aligning with organizational competencies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science (AAS) required.
• Minimum of 3 years acute care nursing experience.
• Demonstrates leadership, motivational skills, emotional maturity and the ability to function effectively under stress.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, program development and project management skills.
• Possesses skills in group facilitation and/or team building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Response: responds to emergencies with nursing leadership and mobilizes resources.
• Quality Improvement and Regulatory Responsibilities: manages priorities, improves bed utilization processes, notifies key stakeholders per policy.
• Team Building: fosters effective relationships and maintains high standards for quality and service.
• Customer/Patient Satisfaction: supports initiatives to promote patient satisfaction within a patient-centered care framework.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to organizational competencies and standards.
