Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey seeks an Administrative Supervisor to oversee hospital and departmental operations, sharing coordination, responsibility, and accountability with the administration and department leaders. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science, at least 3 years of acute care nursing experience, and demonstrates leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred BSN and supervisory experience considered.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science required.
• 3+ years of acute care nursing experience.
• Demonstrates leadership, motivational skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Response consistently and promptly responds to emergencies with nursing leadership support.
• Quality Improvement and Regulatory responsibilities, liaising to improve bed utilization and notify critical events.
• Team Building, fostering effective relationships and high standards for quality and service.
• Customer/Patient Satisfaction, support patient-centered care and guidance to nursing staff.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
