Job summary

GoodVets is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to be the operational heartbeat of the hospital. You’ll run day-to-day, oversee staffing, inventory, compliance, and reporting, and lead a culture that attracts top talent while delivering gold-standard veterinary care and client experiences.

You will hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff, create schedules, and produce monthly performance insights to guide decisions and improve margins.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as Hospital Operations Manager, Medical Office Manager or similar role strongly preferred.
• Three plus years in veterinary medicine with progressive responsibilities; technician background preferred.
• Leadership, empathy, and mentoring skills with ability to train and develop others.
• Advanced skills in Practice Management Systems and MS Excel.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Ability to implement SOPs and hospital protocols to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction.
• Strong communication with hospital and corporate teams; decisive under pressure.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with hospital and corporate teams and the confidence to make important decisions.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, proactively manage and resolve conflict and the ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated passion to make a difference in pets and people’s lives

Compensation Range

$65,000—$76,000 USD
