Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks an experienced RN supervisor to lead hospital-wide nursing operations. You will oversee staffing, resources, and performance while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and state regulations.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, quality improvement, and staff development. Candidates should have California RN licensure, BLS, and ideally ACLS, with BSN/MSN preferred and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• BSN or MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of Joint Commission standards, California Nursing Practice Act, Title 22/17, HIPAA, and national standards for areas supervised.
• Uses quality of care improvement to update nursing policies, procedures and standards.
• Coaches staff to improve patient care and reports to the unit manager; investigates errors and responds with a plan.
• Monitors staff competencies and ensures HR policies support employment standards.
