Intermountain Health’s Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seeks a versatile Food Service Associate to support patient meals, cash handling, and dining operations. The role involves tray assembly, food prep, serving, and cleaning under supervision.

Shifts are PRN, with 12:30pm–9pm or 5pm–9pm and every other weekend. Hourly pay ranges from $17.68 to $22.99, based on experience. A Food Handler Permit/ServSafe may be required by first day in applicable states.

Competenze

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (required only in the states of Utah and Idaho).
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred)

Mansioni

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (e.g. salads, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit).
• Follows standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (dining experience, meal delivery, stock levels).
• Performs housekeeping functions including cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and equipment care.
• Performs accurate cash/credit transactions according to system standards and resolves basic customer service issues.
