Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for full-time overnight shifts at Methodist/ South Philadelphia site. The technician will prepare drug orders, replenish Pyxis, monitor refrigeration, and assist pharmacy operations for inpatient and outpatient services.

Requirements include 2 years hospital experience, 1 year sterile compounding, and CPhT/RPT licenses upon hire with strong math and safety skills. This role supports a 7 on/7 off night schedule.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
1 year of sterile compounding experience.
Passing score of 90% on calculation exam, aseptic prep exam, safe handling of hazardous drugs.

Responsibilities

Prepares drug orders from physicians for pharmacist review and dispensing.
Replenishes Pyxis machines and monitors refrigerator temperatures.
Counts, compounds, and repackages pharmaceuticals per procedures.
Dispenses medications and assists with inventory management and restocking.
