Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Hospitals vaccination requirements met.
• Able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Valid driver’s license (state where job located).
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access-control procedures, and traffic flow in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
