Job summary

Allied Universal in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Patrol to safeguard patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting, including a morgue, with a focus on patient care and calm response.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor areas, deter incidents, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional service on a diverse 24/7 schedule. The role requires hospital experience and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals.
• Preferred: able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor direction, and maintaining awareness of restricted or sensitive areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.
